Which Productivity Method is Best for You?

How do you get things done? Do you have a specific Productivity Method that you use?

I didn’t, until I started to get behind in my writing and my housework. I was doing ok in my full-time job, but I really wanted to make some headway with my writing and, well, my house was a mess.

I’ve always used a To-Do list, and I still do. But the tasks were just rolling over into the next day, and then the next. I knew what I wanted to get done, but I couldn’t get going.

So, I started looking into productivity methods. There are many out there and each has its benefits and drawbacks.

I’ve been using Time Blocking and Time Boxing for several months and it’s made a huge difference. I’ve also adopted some pieces of other methods as well.

As I was trying out the various productivity methods, I kept a journal to note what I accomplished, what methods worked, what needed improvement, etc. Yes, even I think the journal was overkill, but it did help me figure out the best productivity methods for me. And, I learned the PROs and CONs of each and even wrote them out for you.

So, you don’t have to keep a journal (unless you want to), but you will want to grab my free report on the Top 10 Productivity Techniques.

Take a look at each method on its own, but you can also mix and match. I like Time Blocking, but the Rule of Three is also compelling. They can be used in tandem.
